Misspelling of "Bassoon" (the musical instrument).
Fills your body with celestial power, increasing your attack, attack speed, and armor class for up to 18 secs (3 ticks). Doesn't stack with some other ATK buffs such as Grim Aura, Firefist, and Strength of Nature. Superficially stacks with spell haste (such as that cast by enchanters and shamans) but only the larger of haste effects will actually apply. As other forms of spell haste, it will stack with worn haste and the Bards' Ervaj line of songs.
This is the de facto haste item in Classic for melee.
Unclear what the drop rate is for girdle, reports are all over the place but probably in the 5-10% range.
This haste belt is an intermediate upgrade above the vogue Flowing Black Silk Sash but still significantly cheaper than Runebranded Girdle.
This is a good budget haste item for monks and rogues without epics and other melee who don't mind giving up their hand slot for it.
Grants your target quickened movement, increasing their attack speed for 18.4 mins @L58 to 20.5 mins @L65. Though Wonderous Rapidity is a higher percentage haste, Visions of Grandeur or Speed of the Shissar are generally preferred for their other stats, especially considering the haste cap is 100% for level 60s and many raiding characters have 36% worn haste or higher.
